Christi Arellano

Christi Arellano

2nd Grade

Christi Arellano is beginning her 3rd year teaching at Our Lady of Loreto; however, she has been teaching in the Diocese of Colorado Springs and Archdiocese of Denver for 12 years total. She has taught many grade levels including middle school, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 2nd grade. She went to Creighton University for college where she earned a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Theology. She and her husband, Antonio, moved to the Denver area and sent their two children through school at Our Lady of Loreto. Their oldest is now in high school and their youngest is in the middle school. While working here, she has been able to further her education by being trained in Ortin Gillingham to better meet the reading and phonics needs of her students. She is passionate about teaching in a Catholic School and especially at Our Lady of Loreto where it feels like home. Teaching children to love learning, think critically, and see all people as children of God is why she loves being at Our Lady of Loreto.
